REATIVAR MADEIRA of Instituto de Emprego da Madeira

Recipients:
This employment measure is intended for unemployed people registered with the Madeira Employment Institute, IP-RAM, for at least 12 months, and who find themselves in one of the following situations:
- Be between 30 and 44 years of age, qualified with a qualification from level 2 to 8 of the National Qualifications Framework (QNQ).
- Be at least 45 years old or older, regardless of qualification level;
- Be at least 55 years old or older and do not have any qualifications.
With the exception of curricular internships, internships lasting up to 3 months and mandatory internships for access to the profession in question, unemployed people who have had a previous relationship with the entity submitting the application for this employment program cannot be placed.
During the professional internship, interns cannot carry out any type of professional activity, whether on their own or on behalf of others.
A person registered with IEM, IP-RAM, as a worker with an employment contract suspended due to non-timely payment of wages, is considered to be unemployed.
Framing entities:
Individuals or legal entities under private law, with or without profit, that meet the general requirements described in the applicable legislation, namely having their contribution situation regularized with the Tax Administration and Social Security, may apply for the REATIVAR Madeira measure.
The financial support co-financed by IEM, IP-RAM, will be reimbursed from the 15th day of the following month, and it is the responsibility of the entity to make the payment to the intern, as well as the appropriate discounts for Social Security.
The entity must also assign an internship supervisor to monitor the intern(s), who may not supervise more than three interns under his/her guidance in the employment measures being implemented.
Intern's rights:
- Monthly internship grant based on the national qualifications framework.
The grants are paid by the supporting entities and are subject to IRS taxation and Social Security contributions (TSU).
- Food allowance
- Transport or transport subsidy;
- Work accident insurance;
- An initial period of 10 working days of rest to be taken mandatorily in the 7th month of the internship;
- A second period of 10 working days of rest to be enjoyed exclusively in the 11th month of the internship;
- The payment of scholarship support, food and transport allowance is the responsibility of the supervising entity.
- Working hours of 35 hours per week and 7 hours per day, 5 days a week, followed by 2 consecutive days of rest.
Financial participation:
The financial contribution of the IEM is made based on the unit cost method, per month and per internship, based on the following values:
- In non-profit private legal entities:
- 80% of the scholarship value;
- 95% of the value of the grant, if they are interns under the conditions of paragraph c) of paragraph 1 of article 14 of Executive Order no. 127/2015, of July 30, in its current wording.
- 100% of the grant amount, when the internship is intended for people with disabilities and/or incapacity equal to or greater than 60%;
- In individuals or legal entities under private law for profit:
- 65% of the scholarship value;
- 80% of the scholarship value, if one of the following situations occurs:
- Entity with 10 or fewer employees and this is the 1st stage; or
- Integrate interns under the conditions of paragraph c) of paragraph 1 of article 14 of Order no. 127/2015, of July 30, in its current wording.
- 95% of the value of the grant, if they are part of the 1st internship, interns under the conditions of paragraph c) of no. 1 of article 14 of Order no. 127/2015, of July 30, in its current wording and is an entity with 10 or fewer employees.
- 100% of the scholarship amount, when the internship is intended for people with disabilities and/or incapacity equal to or greater than 60%
- Food, value for the meal allowance for most workers who perform public functions, set at €6.00/day;
- Transport, 10% of IAS: €50.93/month in 2024;
- Work accident insurance, worth 3.296% of the IAS: €16.79 in 2024.
Employment award:
Individuals or legal entities under private law, with or without profit-making purposes, who, within a maximum period of 60 consecutive days from the end date of the internship, submit their respective application, through the Employment Bonus, may benefit from the Employment Bonus. Employment Program Application Platformaccompanied by a full-time employment contract, with no fixed term or a term of no less than 12 months. This financial support will only be granted to projects that result in the net creation of jobs.
The Employment Bonus is a non-refundable subsidy of 8 or 4 times the amount corresponding to the Guaranteed Minimum Monthly Wage in force in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RMMG RAM), for each job created, through the signing of permanent or fixed-term employment contracts, respectively.
